Equipment Bookings for Students
Laptop Loans Each Library has a number of laptop computers (PC) that students can sign out to use on campus. Loans are made for a maximum 3 hours on a "first-come, first-served basis". No pre-booking necessary.
Sign your laptop user agreement [pdf] at the Library Help Desk of any Centennial College Library at the beginning of the semester. - Pick up laptop at the Library Help desk. Your current College student photo ID card or Library-issued card must be presented each time you borrow.
- Power supplies will accompany each laptop.
- When you are finished, return 'powered-up' laptops for inspection by Library staff.
- Report equipment problems to Library staff as soon as possible. For help with software or other technical support, contact the IT Helpdesk at helpdesk@centennialcollege.ca, or call extension 5280.
- Laptops are available 30 minutes after the Library opens and up to 90 minutes before the Library closes.
Note: Loan period is 3 hours. If Library closing time is less than 3 hours away, loan time will be reduced. For example, a laptop checked out at 7:30 PM would be due back at 9:30 PM if Library closing is at 10:00PM.

Classroom Presentation Equipment
Presentation equipment can be booked on your behalf by your instructor.
Please make arrangements in advance with your instructor. Equipment bookings require a minimum of 2 business days advance notice. We will make every effort to fill same-day requests, but cannot guarantee to meet your requirements. Multimedia carts are heavily used and should be booked as far in advance as possible. Videos from another campus require additional delivery time. Presentation equipment may be picked up from the IT Helpdesk.
Click here for a list of the types of presentation equipment available for booking. Your instructor will arrange pick-up and return of equipment cart.
Instruction manuals accompany each presentation cart. If you would like an orientation of the equipment booked on your behalf, contact IT/AV Services staff.
