Centennial College is operating under the Copyright Act, including the “fair dealing” exception for education.

Copying and communication of copyright-protected works is to be done within the limits described in the
CIC formerly ACCC Fair Dealing Policy. August 30, 2012

Each instance of copying or communicating copyright-protected works beyond the described limits requires an evaluation of whether the use of the material is “fair” based on all relevant circumstances.

If you have questions about the appropriate use of print and digital materials, please contact library copyright staff at copyright@centennialcollege.ca

If you require permission to copy or display materials that do not meet the “fair dealing” terms, you may request assistance from the library copyright technician.

Please use the Copyright Permissions Database to submit your request.

Revised December 10, 2012.
