Centennial College Libraries provide research resources and facilities for Centennial students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the local community. There is a Library at each of the four main College campuses (see Hours & Locations). Each Library specializes in subject areas corresponding to the disciplines taught at its campus.

• Find Books & Videos: Search our collections of books, e-books, videos, magazines, journals, etc. Learn about course reserves, new titles, and how to access other libraries.
• Find Articles & Journals: Use the e-resources (over 100 databases) to find articles in newspapers, magazines, and scholarly journals. Use BIGsearch to search most e-resources at the same time.
• Search the Internet: Get better results from your Internet searches. Learn about Google Scholar and its links to Centennial's e-resources. Learn to evaluate websites and choose good quality sources

• Collections & Exhibits: Read about the John and Molly Pollock Holocaust Collection and the Diversity collection. View photos of some recent library book exhibits.

Improve your skills 

• Research & Writing Help: Use our subject guides for help to find the best sources in your subject area. Find APA and MLA style guides and information about RefWorks. This section also has information about academic honesty and plagiarism.
• Library Classes: Download the handouts from your class's library orientation or research skills training session.

• Your Library Card: Find out how to get a Centennial College library card or activate your library privileges on your Student/Employee ID Card.
• Library Guidelines: Look up information about loan periods, fines, food and drink in the library, etc.
• Computers & Study Areas: Each library has multimedia workstations with Internet access, laser printers, video viewing stations, photocopiers, and study areas.

We are here to help you succeed. Library technicians and librarians answer individual reference questions in person, by phone, by e-mail, and via online chat. Librarians teach library research skills classes. Ask the Library if you have any questions.
