Update on Library Services and Operations
Visit this page for regular updates on Library services and operations during the COVID-19 closures.
All Centennial Libraries & Learning Centre locations are closed until further notice. You have our assurance that we are still here to help and support your academic journey and needs.
We have moved to an online format and many resources and services, as well as all Library and Learning Centre staff, are available to you. We are monitoring all of our services throughout the day and are available to answer your questions via email, chat, or by phone.
Whether you are a student or faculty, access our Continuity of Library Services Guide to find the answers and help you’re looking for. This is your starting point to find all the Library’s resources and services you didn’t know you needed.
Tech Support @ the Library
Looking for help with software or applications like eCentennial, myCentennial, Microsoft Office and videoconferencing software? Chat with one of our peer technology mentors to guide you through the process.
Borrowing from the Library
In light of current closures, we will not be lending items from our collection until further notice. However, we will fulfill any Interlibrary Loan (ILLO) requests for digital material to the best of our abilities and as per Copyright Law.
Loans & Fines
Did you borrow Library material before the closure? Are you worried about late fines and wondering what to do about it? The Library has you covered.
If you have a Library item to return, we ask that you keep it in your care until the Library re-opens.
There will be no late fines for any Library item(s) in your possession. Any outstanding fines will not accumulate.
Having library materials checked out during this period will NOT impact your ability to register for next semester's classes or to graduate.
The Learning Centre is a key component to help you succeed! If you feel like you’re struggling with your studies or need some additional help with your courses, the Learning Centre has the solutions to get you back on track.
