Update on Library Services and Operations
Visit this page for regular updates on Library services and operations during the COVID-19 closures.
All Centennial Libraries & Learning Centre locations are closed until further notice. You have our assurance that we are still here to help and support your academic journey and needs.
We have moved to an online format and many resources and services, as well as all Library and Learning Centre staff, are available to you. We are monitoring all of our services throughout the day and are available to answer your questions via email, chat, or by phone.
Whether you are a student or faculty, access our Continuity of Library Services Guide to find the answers and help you’re looking for. This is your starting point to find all the Library’s resources and services you didn’t know you needed.
Borrowing from the Library
While we have many online resources, we know that our print collection is an important part of supporting your learning and teaching.
We are happy to announce our new Grab & Go book service. Starting today, you can begin placing holds on books that will be available for scheduled pick-up from September 21 onwards.
We will continue to fulfill any Interlibrary Loan (ILLO) requests for digital material to the best of our abilities and as per Copyright Law.
Returns & Fines
If you have a Library item from before the closure it can be returned starting Sept 21 by appointment only. Use our online booking system to select a date and time. Note: there will be no late fines for any Library item(s)from before the closure. Any outstanding fines did not accumulate.
Any current items borrowed through the Grab & Go service, standard fines and due dates will apply. Refer to your date due slip upon pick-up.
