Study spaces at Story Arts Centre

Study spaces in the library

• A group study room for three to ten people. Bookable at the Library desk or, if available, this room may also be used on a first-come, first-served basis.

CCC group study room

• Small groups or individuals can work quietly at the tables in the main space of the library.

CCC main study area

• Soft seating with side tables provide a comfortable place to read or work independently on your laptop.

• The Story Arts Centre Library gets great light from the wall of windows opening onto the neighbourhood and provides an excellent atmosphere for reading, working and studying.

CCC computer lab

• The glassed-in library mezzanine is probably the quietest study area on campus. Study carrels in this area provide an opportunity for you to really concentrate.

Study spaces elsewhere on campus

• The Cafeteria is usually pretty noisy at lunchtime but has large tables that provide a good place to study for small groups or individuals at other times of the day.

• Upstairs, room 243 has 7 open MAC workstations, as well as, a round table and a few armchairs.

• Some programs provide work/study space for their students. Check with your instructor.

• The courtyard offering benches and picnic tables is a place to relax and discuss the day's work with colleagues or grab a few quiet moments for yourself beside the reflection pool.
