Collection Development

Centennial College’s Libraries and Learning Centres (LLC) support the mission of Centennial College to educate students for career success. Learning and teaching are the core activities of the College, and LLC resources directly support these activities.  

The primary goal of the LLC is to meet the information needs of the Centennial community. The goal of collection development is to provide, maintain, and make accessible an organized collection of materials that meet these needs.  

The LLC is committed to supporting the success of our main clientele, Centennial College students. The LLC also provides teaching, learning, and research support materials for an extended group including faculty, administration, staff, on-campus contractors and other members of Centennial College’s community, both internal and external.
