Course Reserves (Hardcopies)

Instructors can place physical materials including print books, DVD videos and copies of articles on reserve at the circulation desk of a campus library.

Please note that due to the closures resulting from COVID-19, borrowing physical course reserves items is currently unavailable.

Faculty, learn how to place material on reserve for your students.

How do I know if there is physical material reserved for my course?

You can search for course reserves in the Library Catalogue Reserve Desk.

Search by

  • Instructor last name (e.g. Smith)
  • Course number (e.g. GNED 500)
  • Course name (e.g. Business Fundamentals)

Can I borrow course reserves?

Please note that due to the closures resulting from COVID-19, borrowing physical course reserves items is currently unavailable.

You can visit the Library Help Desk to borrow material on reserve.

Due to high demand, most items on reserve are restricted to in-library use only. You cannot take reserves out of the library unless otherwise indicated.

Overdue fines on reserve material are $1 per hour (or part of an hour).
