Dear colleagues,
As Director of the Library and Learning Centre at Centennial College, it is my great pleasure to welcome you to the start of another exciting academic year. Whether you're a returning student, faculty member, or new to our college community, I encourage you to take full advantage of everything our Library and Learning Centre has to offer—there’s a lot to explore!

Our dedicated team is here to assist you every step of the way. Whether you need help finding information for your class assignments, developing strong skills for successful college learning or tutoring help, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Our services are free and we’re committed to supporting your academic journey and helping you succeed.

At all 5 campuses, there is a Library and Learning Centre offering you a variety of study spaces, from quiet reading areas to collaborative group environments equipped with the latest technology. These spaces are designed to accommodate different learning styles and foster collaboration.

Our extensive collection includes books, e-books, journals, databases, and other resources across multiple platforms, catering to the academic disciplines, programs and courses of the college. If we don’t have a specific resource you need, you can request to borrow it from another library.

For new students, my advice is to take full advantage of all the resources and supports available to you. College life can be challenging at times, but with organization, good sleep, and a willingness to explore, read, and engage with your studies, you’ll be well on your way to success. Explore the Library and Learning Centre website to see all that we offer. We are here to support you on this journey, and we’re honoured to be part of your academic experience.
I would love to hear your thoughts on how we can continue to improve our services. Feel free to reach out to us with your ideas and suggestions.

Sincerely,
K. Jane Burpee, MLIS
